Job Summary

We seek an experienced Computed Tomography Specialist to join our team at Mercyhealth Crystal Lake Hospital in Crystal Lake, IL. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques to produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
  • Administers x-radiation to patients, taking necessary precautions to ensure safety.
  • May be required to alternate shifts, weekends, holidays, and take call to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
  • Provides advanced clinical expertise and staff-level leadership to the department.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
  • Radiographer experience preferred if assigned to perform radiographer duties.
  • Three years experience as a CT Technologist required.

Certifications and Licenses

  • ARRT Radiography registration required.
  • ARRT Computed Tomography registration required.
  • IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois.
  • WI-DSPS radiographer license required if working in Wisconsin.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.

Special Physical Demands

The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without accommodations. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
