Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular safety meetings with staff to maintain a safe working environment
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance work
  • Inspect and maintain all tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Train and supervise maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and expenditures
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement maintenance budgets and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Environment:
  • Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Frequent exposure to paint fumes, solvents, and other chemicals
  • Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and weather conditions
  • Must be able to work in awkward and confining positions
Reasoning Development:
  • High level of reasoning and problem-solving skills required to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and initiate action
  • Ability to effectively convey ideas, images, and goals to a diverse group of personalities
