Job Title: Janitorial Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join our team at Superior Maintenance Co. in a full-time capacity. As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing, to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized according to the highest standards.
  • Properly use and handle cleaning equipment, reporting any issues to your supervisor immediately.
  • Notify superiors of any damaged fixtures, dispensers, or furniture.
  • Deal with customer requests and complaints in a professional and patient manner.
  • Effectively communicate with building occupants to accomplish tasks.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with company policies, customer rules, and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and floor equipment a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand, push, pull, and walk.
  • Frequently required to hear.
  • Occasionally required to handle, or feel; reach with hand and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to sixty (60) pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Generally in an indoor setting, with occasional outside activities and events.
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
  • Exposed to smells, heat/cold during summer and winter months.
  • Protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or safety regulations.
