Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

Bryten Real Estate Partners is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our properties, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance schedules, ensuring that repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the maintenance of plumbing systems, including troubleshooting and repair of minor electrical issues.
  • Perform grounds work, including trash removal, sweeping, pressure washing, and maintaining the landscape.
  • Provide 24-hour emergency maintenance service responses, working closely with the on-call team to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized vocational training or certification in HVAC, electrical wiring, or plumbing highly desirable.
  • At least three years of experience in building and facility maintenance, with some supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and write in English at an intermediate level, with the ability to read diagrams, meters, and instructions.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
