Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join our team at Superior Maintenance Co. in a full-time capacity. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of cleaning activities, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and disposing of waste in all areas as designated.
  • Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, sanitized, and inspected according to the highest standards.
  • Properly use and handle cleaning equipment, reporting any issues to your supervisor immediately.
  • Notify superiors of any damaged fixtures, dispensers, and furniture or building furnishings.
  • Deal with reasonable requests and complaints in a professional and patient manner.
  • Effectively communicate with building occupants to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, customer rules and regulations, and safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and floor equipment a plus.
Work Environment
  • Generally in an indoor setting, with occasional participation in outside activities and events.
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates.
  • Protective clothing and/or Personal Protective Equipment required by the work environment or safety regulations.
