Job Title: Sales Director

Job Summary:

The CAZA Collective is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our sales team at our flagship store in Albany, NY. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, mentoring the team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a high-end luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with store management to lead, develop, and motivate the sales team to achieve both individual and collective sales goals.
  • Set sales targets and monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Serve as a lead salesperson, handling high-value sales and ensuring that each customer receives a personalized and exceptional shopping experience.
  • Assist associates in closing high-value or complex transactions, serving as a mentor to improve their performance.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, managing a book of business and ensuring satisfaction through follow-up and personalized service.
  • Provide expert knowledge on diamonds, including cuts, quality, and certifications, as well as bridal jewelry.
  • Train and mentor sales associates on product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
  • Utilize the CRM system to track customer interactions, follow up on leads, and manage the sales pipeline.
  • Maintain a refined, professional appearance that aligns with the luxury retail environment.
  • Work with the management team to implement new sales initiatives and strategies to grow the business.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales management or leadership experience in a high-end luxury retail environment. Jewelry or fine goods experience is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in diamonds, including familiarity with cuts, grading, and certification (GIA knowledge is a plus). Experience with bridal jewelry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and manage long-term relationships with high-value clients.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus, though training will be provided.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and guiding a team, as well as coaching underperforming associates.
  • High level of precision when discussing diamond quality and jewelry specifications with clients.
  • Consistently maintain a refined, polished appearance in line with the luxury retail environment.

Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
  • Commission: 1-2% of individual gross sales.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-time, 43-44 hours per week.
  • Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
  • Sundays off.
