Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential partners, including individual neuroscientists, research institutions, labs, universities, and professional neuroscience associations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the neuroscience community.
  • Contribute to strategies to foster growth in important audience segments, such as early-career researchers.
  • Work closely with the editorial team on partnership strategy and content plans to optimize the value and impact for both The Transmitter and any prospective partners.
  • Collaborate with partners on the development of co-branded email newsletters and work closely with The Transmitter and partners' production teams to deploy the newsletters.
  • Track the progress and impact of partnerships, providing regular reports and presentations to senior management.
  • Coordinate with The Transmitter's legal team to draft and manage new contracts.
  • Travel occasionally to attend partner meetings, events, and conferences.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, with a strong interest in neuroscience. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in marketing, project management, or a related role, preferably within the scientific or academic community.
  • Software-proficient and eager to learn new platforms, must be conversant in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Suite and Mailchimp is helpful but not essential.
What We Offer:
  • The full-time annual compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000, depending on experience.
