We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and patients.
Key Responsibilities- Register patients, verify insurance information, and accurately code diagnoses and procedures.
- Process payments, balance cash drawers, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist patients with questions and concerns, and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient office operations.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and mail processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in a technical specialty preferred.
- Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
This is a non-management position that will report to a supervisor or manager. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and administrative support.
