Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electromechanical assemblies, including sub-assemblies and final assembly products, under a microscope.
  • Assemble ultra-miniature assemblies or be proficient in a specific product line.
  • Operate standard shop equipment, including soldering irons, microscopes, ultrasonic cleaners, and furnaces.
  • Rework malfunctioning units.
  • Communicate with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation of units.
  • Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge.
  • Weld miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods during the work shift.
  • Process complex assemblies with minimal oversight.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
  • Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Good dexterity of hands and eyes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610.
  • Must be a local candidate.
