Key Responsibilities- Perform various precision assembly and test operations on complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
- Assembly activity utilizes a variety of mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, and precision micrometers to obtain proper build requirements.
- Test activity requires foresight and considerable judgement in determining problem areas. Test equipment is used to a more complex degree.
- Set up hydraulic fixturing and electronic measuring equipment utilizing auxiliary monitoring devices; e.g., transducers, strain gages, high temperature thermocouples, flow meters, cameras, etc.
- Perform "prototyping" or pre-production testing on new units, as required.
- Work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and oral.
- Work in concert with Product Engineering in diagnosing and proposing the necessary rework on models that are intricate in structure and design.
- Work closely with engineering to innovate testing procedures and suggest changes in worksheet processes.
- Clean components to required cleanliness levels. Maintains traceability records, MDC forms, and configuration records on controlled programs.
- Work on repair units normally run with production units.
- Contribute to the teamwork environment in terms of productivity, initiative, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5 years or more of Prototype or Senior Assembly level experience (mechanical, hydraulic, electromechanical) or Technical Degree or equivalent and 3 years or more as Moog Senior Assembler/Tester, Assembler/Technician.
- Experience working with precision assembly and test operations on complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary Range: $33.56-$39 per hour. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance.
