About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Hottinger Brel & Kjaer as an Electromechanical Assembly Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing complex electromechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test electromechanical systems, including sub-assemblies and final products, according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Operate standard shop equipment, including soldering irons, microscopes, and ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Rework malfunctioning units and communicate with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly and proper operation.
  • Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly, soldering under a microscope.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
  • Advanced schematic reading and ability to troubleshoot assemblies.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity of hands and eyes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610.
  • Must be a local candidate.
