Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Financial Advisor to enhance our offerings in financial and investment planning services. This role emphasizes client engagement, working closely with Managing Advisors and service team members to craft and implement tailored client relationship strategies. The goal is to enrich clients' lives, foster trust, create comprehensive financial plans, and achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of high-net-worth client relationships.
  • Establish and maintain connections with referral partners and influential networks while adhering to deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ensure asset retention and deliver an exceptional client experience through holistic wealth planning advice, encompassing investment management, retirement, estate, and tax planning.
  • Engage in initial client meetings alongside the Originating Advisor to discern potential clients' aspirations, needs, and preferences, while recommending suitable asset management and financial planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Client Service Team to facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
  • Act as the primary liaison for client relationships, partnering with Wealth Planning, Investment Management, and Client Service teams to provide superior service.
  • Conduct regular meetings with existing clients to address their financial planning and investment management requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings through various formats, including in-person, virtual, and telephonic, with some travel necessary.
  • Utilize Salesforce for documenting all client interactions in compliance with established procedures.
  • Draft follow-up communications post-client meetings to clarify discussions and outline actionable steps.
  • Oversee meeting follow-ups, coordinating both internal and external resources to ensure client objectives are met.
  • Lead the collection of financial planning data in collaboration with the Wealth Planning Department to develop comprehensive financial plans.
  • Generate asset management reports for client distribution.
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, advisors, and team members with professionalism via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Supervise the preparation of meeting materials, including agendas and planning analyses.
  • Coordinate the execution of trade orders with the Asset Management Department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CFP designation or equivalent industry certification (CPA, CFA, JD).
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Registered Investment Advisor or equivalent roles, with at least 5.5 years in relevant positions prior.
  • In-depth knowledge of comprehensive financial planning, including cash management, tax planning, insurance, education funding, retirement strategies, estate planning, and risk management.
  • Proficient in financial planning software and deliverables.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office Suite and Client Relationship Management systems like Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
