Position Overview:
The role outlined below is integral to our Wealth Management team.

As a Wealth Management Sales Consultant, you will provide essential support to a dedicated group of Wealth Advisors, overseeing a portfolio of affluent clients. Your collaboration with a diverse team, including Wealth Support Specialists, Trust Advisors, Investment Strategists, and Financial Planners, will be crucial in fulfilling client needs and objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
Below is a summary of the primary functions associated with this position. Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries from the assigned team, playing a vital front-office role in client interactions and resolving various internal and external challenges.
  • Manage and direct workload, coordinating requests through multiple back-office channels while consulting with the assigned team. Provide mentorship and guidance to Wealth Support Specialists in the region.
  • Deliver proactive support for banking, lending, and Trust products, managing an average portfolio of over 250 clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records, monitor transactions, and ensure timely documentation of client interactions. Redirect requests to the Wealth Solution Center as necessary.
  • Respond to client inquiries within your authority, focusing on relationship retention and identifying opportunities for growth, while communicating effectively with the relationship team.
  • Engage actively in the sales process, including document reviews, customer correspondence, and the creation of client presentation materials using Microsoft Office Suite and other Truist Wealth software.
  • Oversee the client onboarding process, including account management and compliance, while ensuring a focus on Risk Management.
  • Provide exceptional service to Wealth clients, demonstrating mastery of products and procedures, and fostering positive relationships with various departments.
  • Train and support other team members on systems and processes, potentially supervising Wealth Support Specialists.
  • Exercise a higher standard of operational authority in areas such as wire transfers and credit approvals.

Qualifications:
Required:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree or a minimum of 7 years of banking experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to change and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to exemplary customer service.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Capability to coach and mentor teammates in a collaborative environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Banking, Lending, Investment Management, and Trust solutions.

Preferred:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Experience supporting specialty clients with complex needs.
  • Prior relationship management experience.
  • Experience in a managerial or training capacity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of investment, wealth management, and treasury services.
  • Possession of FINRA licenses 7, 66, and Insurance License.
