About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at our student housing properties in the Charlotte, NC area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will lead a team of maintenance professionals, prioritizing and executing work orders, managing the budget, and supervising high-level tasks. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, quarterly bonus, and on-call pay.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have a high school degree, at least 2 years of experience in student housing or multi-family apartment maintenance, and EPA Certification (Type I and II). Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance team
  • Prioritize, assign, and provide quality control of work orders
  • Supervise high-level, technically proficient work orders
  • Manage the maintenance budget
  • Execute preventative maintenance plans
  • Assist with construction projects

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • At least 2 years' experience in a student housing, conventional multi-family apartment maintenance field required
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • EPA Certification (Type I and II) required
  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required or ability to obtain at properties with a pool within the first 6 months of employment

About the Compensation:

This is a full-time position with a competitive annual salary of approximately $60,000 - $80,000 based on location and experience. In addition to your salary, you can expect a quarterly bonus and on-call pay.
