Job Summary:

The Campus Facilities Manager oversees all maintenance staff, negotiates building contracts, and ensures upkeep of campus facilities, including daily operations and preventative maintenance. This professional will serve as a member of the management team, assisting with long-range planning and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance personnel, providing direction, evaluating performance, and administering corrective actions.
  • Take responsibility for physical upkeep of properties, ensuring buildings and equipment are well-maintained, including conveyor systems.
  • Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance and work orders.
  • Maintain MEPFS systems, ensuring compliance with inspections, testing, and certification requirements.
  • Manage building parts inventory and develop vendor relationships.
  • Provide technical leadership and support across facilities and the company.
  • Aid in developing procedures for preventative, corrective, and operational maintenance.

Requirements:

  • At least five (5) years' experience in maintenance management, including supervising staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to use good judgment in employee issues.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, conveyor systems, HVAC, fire safety systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and document departmental activities.
  • Warehouse operations experience required.

Working Conditions:

Extensive walking, stair climbing, and moderate lifting up to 50 pounds. On-call 24/7.

Estimated Salary Range:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
