Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our faculty as a tenure-track assistant/associate/full professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Cincinnati. The successful candidate will have a strong research background in dynamics and control, with expertise in areas such as astrodynamics, space robotics, flight dynamics and control, nonlinear control, intelligent and autonomous systems, aerospace structures, and propulsion control.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses specific to their specialty areas, both online and in a traditional classroom setting. They will also be responsible for advising graduate and undergraduate students, participating in professional service activities, and collaborating with faculty members in relevant research clusters to develop a nationally recognized research program.

Applicants must have a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A strong teaching and research record, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for success in this position.
