As a Lead Thermal Design Engineer, you'll be part of our LEAP Engineering Design Team in Cincinnati, OH, working on the fastest-growing engine in aviation history.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute design and test activities to develop engine components, assemblies, or systems that meet business standards and LEAP product/program requirements.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge in turbomachinery and execute tasks in consistency with engineering policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with peers and provide direction and mentoring to new team members.
  • Document and communicate results of technical data generated.
  • Prepare and present technical data to support internal and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
  • At least 3 additional years of experience in an engineering design position.
  • Demonstrated experience in component design.
  • Positive, motivated, quick learner with a passion for the aerospace industry, our customers, and our products.
  • Familiarity with design, test, and analysis tools and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
