We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our Consumer and Community Banking division at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our agile team, you will play a crucial role in the enhancement, construction, and delivery of top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

Your responsibilities will include executing creative software solutions, developing secure and high-quality production code, and reviewing and debugging code written by others. You will also identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems.

Additionally, you will lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. You will also lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.

We are looking for a candidate with formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience. You should have hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods is also required.

Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with Ab Initio suites of product, including Graphs, Plans, Control Center, and experience with Java/JavaScript, J2EE, XML, Web Services, and HTML.
