Program Overview: The Early Intervention (EI) program is designed to support infants and young children experiencing developmental delays, ensuring they reach their full potential. This program is inclusive, providing services to eligible children without regard to race, ethnicity, or income.

Key Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Director of the Evaluation Standards Unit, the Evaluation Reviewer will:

  • Conduct quality assurance assessments for the Early Intervention Program by reviewing evaluations to confirm compliance with eligibility criteria and regulatory standards.
  • Engage with evaluation agencies to address non-compliance issues and establish eligibility.
  • Offer clinical expertise related to Motor Development initiatives within the Bureau of Early Intervention.
  • Support EI Regional Office staff in implementing a standardized evaluation review process.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to EI provider agencies and evaluators to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Deliver constructive feedback on initiatives aimed at enhancing evaluation quality.
