Key Responsibilities:

  • Restock beverages, mixers, and garnishes at the bar.
  • Assist with cleaning duties, including removing empty glasses and trash from the bar area and tables.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the bar, including wiping surfaces and organizing menus.
  • Conduct regular checks on restroom facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality.
  • Thoroughly clean restrooms at the end of each shift.
  • Address spills or customer incidents promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure bartenders have access to clean towels at their stations at all times.
  • Wash glassware and utensils in the back of house, following proper cleaning protocols.
  • Keep ice bins filled and ready for service.
  • Assist bartenders with inventory management of liquor supplies.
  • Adhere to all opening and closing procedures during shifts.
  • Promote customer satisfaction by engaging with guests and addressing their inquiries.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a barback or bussing role is advantageous. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is crucial. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, and maintain a clean work environment. Physical capability to lift at least 30 lbs is required. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, as shifts may include evenings, weekends, or holidays.
