Banquet Bartender

The AC Hotel Greenville Downtown is seeking a skilled Banquet Bartender to join our team. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for maintaining the entire bar operation at banquet functions, including the service of all beverage and food items, while following both the AURO and Marriott Brand standards.

• Take orders from customers or Bar Servers and prepare drinks according to AURO Hotels' standards.
• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Serve wine and draught or bottled beer, and arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Check food before serving it to the guest to ensure that appearance, temperature, and portions are correct.
• Replenish bar snacks such as chips, pretzels, and nuts, and follow AURO Hotels' beverage standards and procedures.
• Make sure all drinks are rung up properly and collect money for drinks served, and follow cash handling responsibilities as dictated by AURO Hotels' policy.
• Fill out beverage requisitions, par and supply lists, and assist in monthly inventory.
• Have full knowledge of and fully comply with the state liquor laws, and follow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and cash collecting procedures.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and monitor those actions of others, and prepare efficiently and accurately all drinks according to AURO Hotels' standards.
• Relay any guest complaints/comments to Manager, and be responsible for the daily maintenance and cleanliness of the bar before, during, and after shift.
• Responsible for profitable bar cost by accurate measurement of product, and measure all drinks properly using a jigger. No free pouring.
• Complete opening/closing duties (side work), and be responsible to never leave the bar unattended.

• High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
