Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a Patient Access Representative II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient registration process for patients, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Responsible for registering patients, collecting demographic information, and scheduling appointments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Customer Service: Provides world-class customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
  • Financial Clearance: Verifies insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility, and secures necessary authorizations for hospital services.
  • Medical Necessity Checks: Conducts medical necessity checks and verifies insurance coverage for scheduled and unscheduled hospital services.
  • Communication: Communicates effectively with patients, families, healthcare providers, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting; 0-1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficiency in medical terminology and computer systems.
Work Environment

The Patient Access Representative II will work in a hospital administration setting, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare providers. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and attention to detail.
