St. Luke's University Health Network, recognized as the largest and most established healthcare system in the region, a significant teaching hospital, and one of the top 100 hospitals in the nation, is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to become part of our expanding network and dedicated team of healthcare providers delivering outstanding care.

Highlights of the Pediatric Department/Network include:

  • The Division of Pediatric Nephrology is the sole pediatric nephrology program in the Lehigh Valley area.
  • In collaboration with DaVita Dialysis, we provide the only pediatric dialysis services in the region, including outpatient dialysis patient rounds. These services are also available for patients in our pediatric intensive care unit and inpatient pediatric unit.
  • The Department of Pediatrics encompasses inpatient, primary care, and specialty care providers across various practice locations.
  • Our Bethlehem campus is now a proud member of the Children's Hospital Association, demonstrating our commitment to expanding services for pediatric patients.
  • We recently opened a new 17-bed inpatient unit and our first Pediatric Intensive Care Unit with 8 beds, enhancing our inpatient pediatric care.
  • The department is supported by a growing team of pediatric specialists across 14 specialties, including surgery, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, developmental pediatrics, neurology, cardiology, dermatology, psychiatry, pulmonology, radiology, anesthesia, orthopedics, and plastic surgery.
  • In 2022, we launched the region's first and only freestanding Pediatric Specialty Center, dedicated to providing comprehensive care for pediatric patients in a family-friendly environment.
  • The pediatric nephrology practice is expanding due to a robust referral network from numerous pediatric primary care practices.
  • Our obstetrics department is thriving, with nearly 5,000 deliveries annually.
  • We have a Surgical Level III NICU at our Bethlehem campus, an 8-bed Level II NICU at our Allentown Campus, a 26-bed Level III NICU at our Anderson Campus, and a Level II NICU at our Upper Bucks Campus.
  • Our extensive 12-hospital network serves over 320,000 patients each year, providing emergency care across a diverse geographic area.
