As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and making informed decisions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients with critical illness or injury, utilizing the nursing process to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Current licensure in the State of Kansas as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- BSN preferred, with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in acute care nursing.
- Basic Nursing skills, including strong assessment and clinical skills, interpersonal, communication, leadership, time management, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
