Human Resources Internship Opportunity

The International Institute of New England is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our Recruiter and HR team in staffing and recruiting initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources, develop research and data analysis skills, and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with staffing initiatives, including phone screening, processing new hires, and delivering onboarding training
  • Support the job description database project, standardizing templates, reviewing needs with hiring managers, and compiling training checklists
  • Audit the Predictive Index (PI) process, ensuring data entry, communicating with staff, and mapping scores for departments
Qualifications:
  • Interest in international, refugee, asylee, and immigrant issues
  • Interest in human resources, systems, data, and networking
  • Ability to work respectfully in a multicultural environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch gears quickly
  • Professionalism, discretion, and maturity in dealing with confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
