About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team at Reconnect Real Estate in South St. Louis city.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to support our Property Manager, Maintenance Personnel, and Residents in coordinating various tasks and ensuring smooth operations.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional multitasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in working with Mac computers and other mobile devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Property Manager on assigned general duties
  2. Assist with Lease Renewals, Tenant Screening, and Resident Requests
  3. Efficiently organize and schedule daily resident requests for maintenance
  4. Coordinate and schedule tasks related to vacant property turnovers and necessary maintenance work
  5. Manage and schedule recurring maintenance activities onsite
  6. Oversee the resident move-out turnover process and ensure smooth transitions
  7. Organize and coordinate the daily tasks of maintenance personnel
  8. Provide effective troubleshooting assistance to residents or gather additional information for the team to complete tasks
  9. Assist in reviewing completed repairs and assessing property readiness
  10. Obtain and organize services or estimates from 3rd party vendors or service providers
  11. Contribute to the expansion and organization of our database of 3rd party vendors and service providers
  12. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and move-in/move-out property inspections
  13. Assist with leasing, property marketing, and conducting on-site showings for vacant units
  14. Deliver excellent customer service, maintain open lines of communication, and ensure high resident satisfaction
  15. Ensure proper organization of property details within company systems
  16. Manage company keys, tools, inventory, materials, and other necessary items for efficient service completion
  17. Proactively organize and purchase materials ahead of property turnovers
  18. Assist with utility turn-on/turn-off processes
  19. Coordinate the scheduling of occupancy inspections and re-inspections
  20. Conduct meetings with residents, inspectors, vendors, and other stakeholders on-site as needed
  21. Assess on-site repair/work progress and provide detailed reports to management regarding schedule adherence, quality, and timeliness of work
  22. Facilitate training sessions for team members on established processes and procedures
  23. Organize and promptly respond to after-hours and emergency resident requests

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $50,000.
