Financial Management Specialist

COCCK is seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial systems team, you will be responsible for implementing and upgrading our financial systems, providing support for advanced system issues, and continually troubleshooting, upgrading, and enhancing our financial applications.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of financial accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial systems implementations and related projects, including analyzing clients' software utilization and performing on-site analysis activities.
- Apply understanding of general accounting principles in utilizing the application and supporting customers.
- Identify areas of opportunity where clients may wish to engage additional services and/or solutions provided by COCC.
- Gather and review data necessary to understand functional and technical requirements as they apply to system implementations.
- Provide support and expert understanding for Financial Applications internally and with clients.
- Design and assist in the development of system improvements while mapping business requirements to application functionality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in banking, with a focus on financial accounting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management, and clients both verbally and in writing.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain composure when dealing with dissatisfied customers.
- Possess business knowledge and interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with senior management as well as the general user community.
