Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Admin to join our team in Santa Maria, CA. This is an onsite position that requires strong administrative skills and cultural sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering telephone calls and scheduling patient appointments
  • Verifying insurance and creating new patient charts
  • Providing administrative support for patient visits, including obtaining insurance authorization and posting payments
  • Coordinating with clinical staff to manage in-progress services and reviewing incoming documents
  • Reviewing charge information for accuracy and submitting clean claims
  • Managing accounts receivable and responding to customer inquiries

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2 years of office administrative experience
  • A valid driver's license and driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience with EMR/electronic health/medical record systems
  • At least 2 years of computer and office equipment experience, including MS Office products and automated billing systems

Compensation: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
