Job Summary

This position reports to the Counseling Department and is responsible for providing administrative support to the department. The incumbent will perform a variety of clerical and technical tasks, including greeting visitors, providing information and assistance, and processing forms and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and the general public.
  2. Process forms and reports, including checking for completeness and accuracy.
  3. Research files to extract information for summaries and reports.
  4. Assist with taking minutes of meetings and preparing correspondence.
  5. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of increasingly responsible clerical and secretarial experience. Bilingual skills are desired.

The incumbent will work in an office environment and will have contact with staff, students, and the general public. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

The incumbent will work in a fast-paced office environment and will be required to sit for extended periods of time. The position requires the ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
