Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teacher 3/Advocate at Community Services Consortium's Head Start program in Lincoln City, Oregon.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and support services to children and families in our community. This includes creating a nurturing learning environment, developing and implementing lesson plans, and collaborating with parents and staff to promote child development and self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement engaging and educational activities for children aged three to five years old.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a comprehensive approach to child development and family support.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A baccalaureate degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • 28 early childhood education quarter credits or 19-semester credits that focus on children up to age five.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid Oregon driver's license and ability to travel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
