We are in search of a Director of International Student Affairs. In this pivotal role, your objective will be to significantly boost our international student enrollment and retention rates, ensuring that our institution is recognized for its exemplary support and integration of international students in the years to come.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build Productive Partnerships with Agents:
- Meet and exceed new student enrollment goals for the international market while minimizing attrition.
- Create services aimed at maintaining a steady population of international students.
- Attract transfer students and recruit new F1/M1 visa holders.
- Ensure that retention, academic progress, and program completion standards are met.
Essential Competencies:
- Student Recruitment:
- Design and implement strategies and communication plans to reach enrollment objectives.
- Manage prospective student leads, develop pipelines, and oversee the entire journey from inquiry to enrollment.
- Support initiatives related to employer-funded or apprenticeship programs.
- Develop and sustain a high-performing enrollment services team aligned with the institution's mission.
- Establish clear expectations, objectives, and key performance indicators.
- Utilize data analysis to formulate coaching and development strategies.
- Promote a culturally respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Train and guide enrollment services staff to comply with all relevant standards.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations.
- Collaborate with management to achieve desired outcomes in student satisfaction and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement both short-term and long-term strategies to fulfill recruitment goals.
