Piedmont Eastside Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA. As a key member of our Respiratory Department, you will play a vital role in providing quality, patient-centered care and service to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the supervision of shift activities and act as an expert during assigned shifts.
  • Provide daily support of staffing and assignments, resource support, preceptor tasks, and fulfill assigned patient care workload.
  • Serve as a role model and advocate for a highly efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment between staff and with physicians.
  • Deliver the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care.
Our Department:

We utilize Respiratory Driven Protocols to manage patients in ICU and acute care areas. After completing competency, RTs are able to intubate and insert A-lines. Our team consists of approximately 50 members, with a director, supervisor, NICU lead, and adult leads. We cover our South Campus, which has an ED, behavioral health unit, and acute care rehab.

Requirements:
  • Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
  • Minimum of two years clinical experience in respiratory care.
  • Current BCLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.
  • Proficient in all patient care settings (i.e., adult ICU, NICU).
