About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing patient assessments and testing, providing patient education, and monitoring compliance with prescribed therapies related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and testing to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions
- Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet patient needs
- Provide education to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous Working Experience in Respiratory care, or successful completion of department specific orientation including skills validation of competencies for the duties and responsibilities of this level.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
