We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA.

Job Summary

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will perform patient assessments and testing, provide patient education, and monitor compliance with prescribed therapies related to pulmonary diseases and sleep disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and testing to diagnose and treat respiratory conditions
  • Provide patient education on respiratory care and disease management
  • Monitor patient compliance with prescribed therapies and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy devices
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences
  • Previous working experience in respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation
  • Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and Licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
