About the Role

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our respiratory department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and administer respiratory care procedures and protocols in adult care areas.
  • Conduct blood gas analysis and maintain and manage all equipment.
  • Provide patient education and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
  • Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and licensed by the State of Georgia under the Composite State Board of Medical Examiners.
  • Current certifications in BCLS and ACLS.
  • One year of experience in performing professional respiratory duties preferred.
