We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA.
About the RoleThis is a full-time night shift position in our NICU department, where you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and testing to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases and disorders.
- Provide patient education and support to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient compliance with prescribed therapies and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies.
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
- Previous working experience in neonatal respiratory care or successful completion of department-specific orientation.
- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care and licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and NRP.
- Actively practicing and maintaining all required competencies in both adult and neonatal areas.
