Laboratory Operations Director

The Vice President of Laboratory Operations will oversee all laboratory functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving operational excellence and innovation. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in laboratory management, clinical operations, R&D, and has a strong background in and the ability to foster collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and Implement Strategic Vision: Develop and implement the strategic vision for lab operations aligned with company goals.
- Lead and Mentor Lab Managers: Lead and mentor lab managers and staff to promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee day-to-day lab operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Optimize Workflows and Processes: Optimize workflows and processes to enhance throughput and reduce costs.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all laboratory practices comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GLP, GMP) and industry standards.
- Oversee Audits and Inspections: Oversee audits and inspections, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the lab.
- Lead Technology Adoption: Lead initiatives to adopt new technologies that enhance laboratory capabilities.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields (Master's preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of operational leadership experienced across multiple department areas.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
