Job Summary

The Medical Laboratory Scientist position at UofL Health is responsible for performing a wide range of technical procedures analyzing blood and various other body fluids to support physician diagnosis and treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in medical laboratory science or a related field and certification as a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist.

Responsibilities include following laboratory procedures for specimen handling, test analyses, and reporting, as well as monitoring and operating instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.

The successful candidate will also maintain records of patient test results, adhere to quality control policies, and participate in safety training sessions.
