Job Summary:

As a Hematology Laboratory Technician at Aequor Technologies, you will play a vital role in delivering quality patient care by reporting accurate and timely test results. Your expertise in operating instrumentation and maintaining a safe work environment will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately report test results and maintain accurate records
Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as needed
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in a related field or CVT/RVT/LVT certification
1+ years of laboratory experience
Demonstrated ability to work within a clinical laboratory team, including creative problem solving and flexibility to meet rapid growth
Some IT and LIS experience and general comfort level with computer systems, technology, and equipment interfaces
Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Robust organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the veterinary field
MLS or MLT certifications
Experience in hematology, including knowledge of RBC, WBC, and platelet cell lines, manual platelet estimates, and WBC differentials

Physical and Time Requirements:

Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 30lbs
Flexible hours and overtime may be required
Must be available for evenings as needed and rotating weekends, Monday-Friday 6a-2:30p
