We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis, working nights. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

  • Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provide direction and oversight of nursing services for assigned patients, ensuring high-quality care and adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to professional nurses and non-professional nursing personnel, monitoring their performance and providing guidance as needed.
  • Conduct regular assessments of patients' physical and mental condition, identifying any changes or concerns that may impact their care.
  • Notify attending physicians of emergencies and deaths, implementing changes to patient care plans as instructed or ordered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the efficient operation of our facility.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the North Carolina Board of Nursing is mandatory.
  • Current CPR certification and willingness to attend in-service training sessions and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Ability to provide exceptional patient care, follow medical orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • Flexibility to work as a charge nurse and contribute to emergency coverage when necessary.

Compensation and Benefits:
