We are seeking a skilled nursing professional with a passion for geriatric care to lead our nursing services department.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to supervise nursing staff effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing services during shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulations.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in directing and coordinating nursing services, maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to nurses during acute episodes, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and document actions taken.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Registered Nurse license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, valid and up-to-date.
  • CPR certification maintained annually.
  • Able to read, understand, and adhere to policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
