Geriatric Nursing Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead our team in delivering high-quality care to patients. As a supervisor, you will oversee nursing staff and ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role:

  • Supervise and direct nursing staff during shifts to provide excellent patient care.
  • Work closely with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective nursing practices.
  • Monitor and supervise nursing services to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with nurses to address patient needs during critical episodes.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and maintain accurate records.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current RN licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing; renewal submissions every two years.
  • Proven experience in geriatric nursing, emphasizing quality care and adherence to physician orders.
  • Ongoing CPR certification necessary.
  • Prompt attendance at in-service training sessions and regular staff meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead nursing staff effectively, ensuring timely task completion and efficient workflow.
  • Awareness and adherence to personnel, departmental, and facility policies and procedures; familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.

The salary for this position is approximately $60,000-$80,000 annually, depending on qualifications and location.
