Position Summary:
The Media Analytics Manager plays a pivotal role in driving insights and strategic thought. This position is primarily responsible for delivering analytics-driven strategic insights to support the development of media and communication strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess both strategic and tactical skills, a keen analytical mindset, and a strong grasp of both offline and online media landscapes. A proven history of conducting data-intensive analyses and a collaborative spirit are essential. A proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to achieving results are crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Associate Media Director to formulate and implement analytical strategies aimed at enhancing communication program effectiveness.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to support findings, drawing actionable conclusions and implications.
  • Oversee and mentor junior Analysts, fostering their development in ongoing analytical practices to optimize campaign performance.
  • Create and maintain structured reporting systems, utilizing SQL or similar tools.
  • Analyze dashboards and provide strategic recommendations based on marketing mix modeling (MMM) insights and other statistical evaluations.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams daily to plan, execute, and assess projects.
  • Assist in the agency's new business initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in analytics within a marketing sciences context, whether at a media agency, market research firm, consulting company, or in-house at a brand.
  • Familiarity with databases and SQL is preferred.
  • Understanding of media and website measurement technologies, including ad serving platforms and website analytics tools.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Datorama, PowerBI) is desirable.
  • A background in quantitative fields (Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Quantitative Marketing) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret raw data, derive conclusions, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with large data sets is essential.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.
