Job Description

Quest Global is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for creating work instructions, developing process operation and assembly sheets, and managing various projects and tasks. You will work closely with the manufacturing engineering team and shop floor to ensure seamless execution of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain process operation and assembly sheets
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering team and shop floor to create work instructions
  • Manage various projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to approval processes
  • Communicate technical subject matter effectively, both written and verbally
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, applying RCCA methodology to drive down product nonconformance
  • Rationalize and implement inspection methods and techniques
  • Skilled in project management, with a focus on daily task follow-up
  • Create presentations based on process data and results to showcase opportunities for productivity improvements and cost savings

Required Skills:

  • Ability to create clear and concise work instructions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Knowledge of various tools, gages, and fixtures
  • Proficient in blueprint reading
  • Proficient in generating operation sheets

Desired Skills:

  • Identify areas for improved product manufacturability, reduced product cost, or improved product reliability
  • Working knowledge of 3D modeling
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter and NX preferred
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and passionate about engineering, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, with the ability to multi-task and drive actions to completion

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

  • Shop floor and office work
  • Heavily regulated industries with strict adherence to procedures
  • Flexibility to meet business deadlines
  • Typical 8 hour days, plus lunch, 40 hour weeks, with core hours from 9AM to 4PM
  • US citizenship required due to the nature of the work
