NESCO Inc. is seeking a skilled HEAVY EQUIPMENT REPAIR SPECIALIST to join our team. This position offers a direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation.

Compensation: $25-30/hour (commensurate with experience) along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of heavy machinery, including but not limited to rough terrain forklifts, industrial forklifts, and cranes. The role demands strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues in heavy machinery.
  • Execute maintenance and repair operations on a diverse fleet of heavy equipment.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Procure replacement components as necessary.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in heavy equipment mechanics or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery is preferred.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software and tools is essential.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
