Job Overview

USG Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Technical Underwriting Assistant to provide administrative and technical support to insurance professionals. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the wholesale insurance industry and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Correspond with agents and carriers to obtain additional information and handle renewal reminder letters.
  • Request company-issued endorsements and process them through our in-house system.
  • Prepare files and bind policies in the Binding Portals.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer service.
  • Assist in invoicing and typing Brokerage Endorsements.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of prior insurance experience, preferably in wholesale brokerage/MGA, retail insurance agency, or insurance company.
  • Knowledge of Windows-based software applications and basic typing skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
