Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at the University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a critical role in advancing nursing practice and improving patient care in our Level IV Neonatal ICU.
Responsibilities:- Provide leadership to nursing team members and contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols and policies.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and managers to assess nursing practice and identify staff learning needs.
- Lead selected projects or programs with a focus on quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Maintain certification(s) and participate in continuing education activities.
- Master of Nursing or higher degree.
- Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing.
- Licensed to practice in the state of WA as an RN.
- Five or more years of nursing experience, including five or more years of recent level IV NICU experience.
- Certification RNC-NIC or CCRN-Neonatal.
