We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Swedish Health Services. As a key member of our palliative care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with complex medical needs, including pain and symptom management, and emotional support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop plans to address these needs in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on palliative care and end-of-life care options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License.
- Current National Provider BLS certification.
- At least one year of experience in a clinical or acute care setting, or completion of a residency program.
- Provider Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
