Regional Sales Manager

A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to oversee and manage Territory Managers in the Eastern Region. This role involves extensive travel to coach salespeople, meet key customers, attend trade shows, and promote products.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and provide guidance to Territory Managers, including conducting annual performance reviews
- Meet regularly with key prospective and current customers to strengthen relationships and drive sales growth
- Travel extensively to coach Territory Managers and support sales activities in the field
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote products and build brand awareness
- Establish and manage sales quotas to achieve regional sales objectives
- Oversee the hiring, training, and termination of Territory Managers as needed
- Monitor and document competitors' actions and market activities
- Collaborate with vendors on purchasing and selling agreements to optimize inventory and product offerings
- Lead new product introductions and study market trends to support product development strategies
- Develop and implement territorial and regional pricing strategies to remain competitive and maximize profitability
- Communicate regional market trends, challenges, and opportunities to product managers and the Vice President of Sales to align sales strategies with overall business goals
- Exercise strong leadership and management skills in line with company policies and applicable laws
- A four-year degree in business or a related field; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel extensively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
