Position Summary


The Clinical Nutrition Consultant (REMOTE) plays a vital role in the development and execution of personalized dietary care plans tailored to each patient’s needs. This position is essential in providing nutritional education resources and guidance to patients and their families.

The Clinical Nutrition Consultant will engage with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure adherence to prescribed dietary regimens and to monitor the effectiveness of nutritional therapies.

This role is remote but may require occasional travel. Candidates should have reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Nutrition Support Team to manage the clinical needs of current and prospective nutrition patients.
  • Partner with sales teams to promote nutritional services and enhance profitability through targeted marketing efforts.
  • Work alongside pharmacy and clinical staff to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in strategizing and executing growth plans for nutritional services, focusing on key accounts and service offerings.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate enteral and parenteral nutrition therapies to address patients' nutritional deficiencies.
  • Analyze patient medical histories and relevant lab results to recommend appropriate nutritional interventions.
  • Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding home nutrition therapies, ensuring understanding and compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to uphold performance improvement initiatives and maintain accreditation standards.
  • Conduct educational sessions for healthcare providers on clinical topics related to nutrition and patient care.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian with licensure in the applicable state; Certification as a Nutrition Support Clinician is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance are required.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position does not include supervisory duties.

Salary Range

USD $33.00 - $40.00 per hour.
